Who we are

Sawadee ka, we are Tem and Tee! We’re two sisters, born and raised in central Bangkok where our mum and aunties taught us to cook delicious food with love and attention to all the details that make Thai food so famous.

Between us, we’ve lived in London for over 10 years. We’ve both gained experience in the hospitality and street food industries, but have always dreamed of owning our own food business. We’re finally realising our dream with BANGKOK BOX.

What we do

We’re creating real tastes of Bangkok in London, using recipes passed down and perfected through generations. We want our customers to experience REAL Thai street food, so we combine locally sourced and homemade ingredients to create the freshest, tastiest and most authentic dishes.

We guarantee that our boxes of the most renowned street foods from the vibrant street food scene of Thailand will transport our customers to the streets of Bangkok. We just can't do anything about the weather!

The star of our menu is Pad Thai. Thailand's national dish has it all - sweet, sour, salty and umami flavours, plus contrasting textures with every mouth-watering bite. But it’s our funky homemade Pad Thai sauces (which are well-guarded secret family recipes) that make BANGKOK BOX Pad Thai so special.

We can serve customers freshly prepared Pad Thai within 5 minutes of them placing an order, making us a perfect choice for busy public markets, corporate catering and private events.

Everyone is catered for - our Pad Thai is gluten free and we offer a traditional choice of protein between chicken, prawn or tofu. But don’t worry if you can’t decide, because with us, you can have them all! Our chicken is always certified Halal, while the tofu Pad Thai and vegetable spring rolls ensure vegetarians are well catered for. And because we make our own delicious Pad Thai sauces, we've developed a vegan option that won't disappoint.

Our values

We’re no ordinary food stall. We’re a progressive food business, as passionate about environmental sustainability and social responsibility as we are about our food. So we make genuine commitments to plastic-free packaging and charitable giving.

Everything at BANGKOK BOX is freshly prepared and handmade. We often can’t make enough and regularly sell out! Not every event goes to plan though, so we’ve joined the world’s largest marketplace for surplus food. We love this platform because it manages the risk of food waste and allows us to give something back to the local communities that support us.

We donate 1% of every private and corporate catering sale to SOS Thailand, a non-profit food rescue and environmental foundation that works to reduce food waste and tackle hunger. Everyone enjoying our services at private and corporate events are helping improve lives in Thailand.
