BANGKOK BOX @ The Boat Race
Discover real Thai street food by BANGKOK BOX at the CHANEL J12 Boat Race between 10am and 4:30pm.
Every year since 1845, a 4.25 mile stretch of the iconic River Thames between Putney and Mortlake has been the site of an annual battle fought between the prestigious but fierce rivals Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Clubs. This spectacle has become one of the oldest, most famous, and most probably the poshest amateur sporting events in the world.
Those making their way to the start of the race in Putney will find BANGKOK BOX in Church Square, directly in front of St Mary the Virgin Church on Putney High Street.
The women's race begins at 2:21pm. The men's race follows at 3.21pm.
More information about the Boat Race can be found at https://www.theboatrace.org, including a documentary series called ‘Turning the Tide’.
